I am a passionate and knowledgeable Pilates Instructor with over 10 year experience. My Pilates journey has started in 2008 after I had my first child. Effectiveness of this method encouraged me to take the Pilates Instructor courses. During third pregnancy I got qualified as Pilates Instructor for Pregnant Women and Seniors. When I work with pregnant women, I am sharing my knowledge and also my experience. After all, I am a mum of four.

I am very keen to work with seniors, someday I will get into this beautiful age. Sharing my passion and skills with golden agers give me a huge pleasure, because I help them to improve their mental and physical health, both of which help to maintain independence as they age. Mix up of the cognitive and kinaesthetic games give seniors lots of laugh and satisfaction with their progressions.

Since 2017 I have started to teach Pilates in preschools and schools. I love knowing that I can make an impact on a child’s future lifestyle and healthy habits. It’s great to see children’s commitment and happiness. Children reminds me constantly that life is full of simple pleasures.

Recently, I extended my Pilates classes to sports teams such as soccer, basketball players and martial arts.

To being better professional I constantly improving my knowledge of Pilates. My work is my passion and it is fascinating to pass it to individuals in according with their needs and abilities. It is so uplifting being a part of someone's journey to a living a healthier lifestyle and experience their transformations over the weeks, months and years.

Fall Prevention Pilates

Fall Prevention Pilates is for everyone who feels that need to improve not only core, but also balance, coordination, concentration and time reaction when face the risk of fall. Every exercise can be modified on any given day to meet you where your body is that day .

By implementing different type of games( kinaesthetic and cognitive) during classes we enhance neuroplasticity of the brain. We have a great fun with challenging and creative exercises, that will improve our memory, concentration, coordination and balance

By training to develop greater balance, will result in fewer injuries and greater stability as you age, which can help prevent falls and keep you independent longer

We learn how  safety get down on the floor and get up. How safely lye down and stand up from bed. How to raise heavier items we encounter everyday in our homes. All to make our lives safe, injury free and happy.

Breathing is very important component of our program.  The more oxygen we pump into the body the better will function in whole.  Proper breathing will increase our lungs capacity, and blood circulation. Most of our breathing muscles keep our posture in proper alignment. Regular Pilates classes will improve your posture and develop self correction.

We are exploring pelvic floor movements and acquiring strength through our discoveries These small muscles are important to help us avoid unwanted incontinence. Strong pelvic floor muscles provide support for our organs, and aid pelvic stability in movement.

No flexion exercises are safe for people with osteopenia and osteoporosis. Strengthening exercises will increase bone density. Strong muscles, tendons, and ligaments are less likely to give way under stress and are less likely to be injured.  Increased bone density and strength reduces joints pain by building muscle around these areas.

Our Location

The Centre for Smart Ageing is situated in the centre of Kerry. We picked this location due to the incredible access to public transport. We are within walking distance of an Airport, Train Station, and a Bus Stop.
